This is a private research project using crime history data collected from Seattle Open Data and weather history / forecast data from Visual Crossing. This data is fed into a TensorFlow neural network to predict potential crime rates (where a police report is filed) for the next day in Seattle neighborhoods. Factors involved in making these predictions include: weather, time of year, time of week, time of day, specific neighborhood crime history, and recent crime activity rates. The predictions are updated every 24 hours.
